My holistic approach to health, healing, and cellular regeneration involves six key areas:
Detoxification
We live in a toxic world, and I estimate 90% or more of health issues result from the body being overloaded with toxins, combined with the body having lost its ability to properly remove these harmful wastes. Toxins can be both physical (e.g. chemicals, food preservatives, pharmaceutical drugs) and emotional (e.g. negative thoughts, emotions, and states of mind). Because detoxification involves purifying the mind, body, and emotions, it can result in both rapid healing and personal transformation.
Oxygenation.
Cells need oxygen to function efficiently. Oxygen can't get to cells properly if they're filled with wastes. Also, most people are shallow breathers and not utilizing the majority of their lung capacity on a daily basis. Regular deep breathing is essential to health, healing, and detoxification.
Stress Reduction.
Stress creates an acidic condition in the body which weakens cells and overall immunity. Integrating a daily practice of mindfulness is key to healing and overall wellness. Meditation and deep breathing are powerful tools for reducing stress.
Lighter Food.
The lighter you eat the less energy your body spends on digestion and the more energy can be spent on cleansing, healing, and operating with youthful energy!
There are different degrees of healing at each progressive level of diet change. For example, the film Forks Over Knives chronicles healing by switching to a plant based diet, Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days demonstrates the benefits of switching to a raw food diet for a month, and Fat Sick & Nearly Dead documents the healing benefits from juice fasting.
Hydration.
All cells needs water to function properly and to flush out wastes. Increasing intake of pure water and high-water content raw fruits and vegetables is essential.
Movement helps activate the lymph system and increase your body's ability to eliminate wastes. It also helps moved blocked and stagnant energy in the body, which is essential for healing. Yoga is my favorite tool for healing, strengthening the body, and re-balancing mind, body, and spirit.
The most important thing you should know about me is I don't believe in the concept of disease. "Disease" simply can't exist in a body with healthy cells. My job is simply to show you how to get your cells healthy again.
There are thousands of names of different "diseases" out there but only about 40 major organs and glands in the body. My role is to help you get really clear about which organs and glands have stopped working properly in your body and how raw food and herbal cleansing programs can regenerate the cells in those areas. Most people find when they switch their focus from "disease" to "health", symptoms and diagnosed health conditions tend to go away on their own.
If you stay lost in the world of treating symptoms, you will never address the root cause of what caused the symptoms in the first place. And all the factors that caused your cells to degenerate will remain in place, and only lead to more chronic and serious symptoms in the future.
If you take the time to understand what caused your cells to become unhealthy in the first place, you'll understand how to make them healthy again.
